Norwich is a long drive on a weekday night. So our small church was especially appreciative that Pastor Sherada Allen of The Church of the Good Shepherd of Norwich, Connecticut was with us again this year. She was accompanied by her daughter, Adriane, who blessed us with a selection and son, Stephan, who accompanied on the drums. Pastor Allen spoke from Colossians 1:24-29 about the burdens and responsibilities of being a shepherd to God's flock. Always with a fan in her hand, the force and fervor with which she brings forth God's message does not prevent the joyous smile from frequently bursting forth on her face. The joy of the LORD is truly her strength.
