At Calvary, Jesus chose to allow his blood to be shed as a sacrifice for the remission of our sins. He took upon himself the punishment for the sins that He knew each of us would commit. If we are truly sorry for the wrongs that we have done, and are baptized in the precious name of Jesus, all our sins will be forgiven That is the promise to each of us that is founds in Acts 2:38
That's why we say our sins have been covered by the blood of Jesus. And that is why our doors are red.
